Jr NTR's Devara Part 1 New Release Date Official Announcement: After a dry and dull summer for Tollywood, the second half is going to kickstart with a bang with Prabhas' Kalki 2898 AD hitting the screens worldwide on June 27. There are a bunch of exciting pan-India films coming this year from the south Indian films, especially from Tollywood including Allu Arjun-Rashmika Mandanna's Pushpa 2 and Jr NTR-Koratala Siva's Devara Part 1.

The highly-awaited film which is the first from the actor after the epic 'RRR' movie, is going to be the biggest to date, in terms of budget, scale, and casting. The actor joined forces with his 'Janatha Garage' filmmaker for this action film set in the backdrop of a coastal fictional village. Janhvi Kapoor is making her south Indian debut along with Saif Ali Khan, who will be seen as the antagonist in Devara. The two-part film is trending on the social media handles every other day with fans excited about every update.

The makers of the film have also released the first single composed and sung by Anirudh Ravichander called 'Fear Song.' The second single, which is going to be a love duet and a melody, is also going to be dropped.

Devara Part 1 To Release On September 27?

Jr NTR-Janhvi Kapoor's Devara Part 1, written and directed by Koratala Siva, was first supposed to hit the screens on April 5. It was then postponed to October 10 with an official announcement. However, now things have changed around the release date and the movie might hit the screens on September 27.

The official announcement about the film's advanced release date is expected soon. On the other hand, Pawan Kalyan's OG by Sujeeth which was announced for September 27 has now moved away to next year.

Devara Cast

The movie stars Jr NTR aka Tarak as Devara. Bollywood actors Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor are making their Telugu debut with Koratala Siva's directorial. Saif will be seen playing the role of Bhaira. In addition, the movie features seasoned actors: Prakash Raj, Srikanth Meka, Shine Tom Chacko, Murali Sharma, Narain, Kalaiyarasan, Chaithra Rai, and Abhimanyu Singh among others playing important characters.

Devara Crew

Koratala Siva is the film's writer and director. Sudhakar Mikkilineni and Kosaraju Harikrishna are funding the project under their banners Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts. R Rathnavelu is cranking the camera, while A Sreekar Prasad is working on its editing. Anirudh Ravichander is on board to compose electrifying music and background score for Jr NTR.
