Devara Part 1 Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 5: Jr NTR is all over the headlines and rightfully so. After all, his recent release Devara (Devara Part 1) has been winning hearts not only in India but across the world. Helmed by Koratala Siva, Devara is an action drama the movie also features Janhvi Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan in the lead, along with Shruti Marathe, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, Narain, Kalaiyarasan and Murali Sharma in key roles. As Devara marks the Jr NTR's return to the big screen after two years, it has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year.

Interestingly, Devara features Jr NTR in a double role while Janhvi Kapoor plays the role of his love interest and Saif in the role of his brother. For the uninitiated, Devara features Jr NTR in the role of a fearless man who is willing to cross the oceans for his family but his brother Bhaira often creates obstructions in his way. As Devara Part 1 was released amid a lot of buzz, it opened to rave reviews from the audience. In fact, Devara managed to see a good start at the box office not just in India but across the world.

To note, Devara made an opening day collection of Rs 82.50 crores in India and entered the coveted Rs 100 crores club worldwide with a collection of Rs 142 crores. After an impressive hike during the opening weekend, Devara Part 1 saw dip in numbers on the first Monday. However, Devara has been maintaining a steady hold at the box office ever since. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Devara made an overseas collection of Rs 64.35 crores on day 5 (first Tuesday) and made a worldwide box office collection of Rs 286 crores.

Interestingly, this Koratala Siva directorial maintained a decent hold at the box office and saw a growth of 9% in the collection. Reportedly, Devara minted Rs 14 crores on day 5 (first Tuesday) in all languages combined which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 187.35 crores while it has earned Rs 35.25 crores in the Hindi market.

Given the massive buzz in the town, everyone is eagerly waiting for the OTT release of Devara Part 1. According to media reports, Devara will be having its digital release on Netflix and is likely to premiere in mid of November on the OTT platform.
