Devara Part 2 Release Date Buzz: Jr NTR's latest action entertainer starring Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in prominent roles, Devara: Part 1 was released to a stellar reception on September 27 worldwide. Tarak hit the screens after a gap of six years (other than RRR) and fans were thrilled about it. For Devara, Jr NTR collaborated with Koratala Siva for the second time and the movie surpassed Rs 500 Crore within two weeks of its theatrical release in five languages.

Devara: Part 1 movie showcased Janhvi Kapoor in her south debut, but her character Thangam has nothing much to do. She has only eight to eleven minutes of screen time, including the 'Chuttamalle' song. The filmmaker assured that Janhvi's character will evolve in the sequel.

Devara: Part 2 Release In 2026?

Recently, Jr NTR and Koratala Siva have spoken at length about Devara and their experience working on it. The movie's sequel will be bigger and better the duo assured. However, Jr NTR mentioned that he asked Koratala Siva to go on a holiday before commencing work on the sequel.

Meanwhile, Tarak will begin working on NTR 31 also known as 'NTRNeel' along with completing his part in War 2, directed by Ayan Mukherji. Jr NTR is making his Bollywood debut with this action drama in which he will be seen alongside Hrithik Roshan.

For Devara 2, fans are supposed to wait for another two years as the filming will begin in 2025. A small percentage of the movie has been shot already but the sequel needs so much more work and shooting part, revealed Koratala Siva. Going by this, Devara Part 2 or Devara sequel will only hit the screens in the summer of 2026, most likely.

The movie stars Jr NTR in a dual role as Deva and Vara. Bollywood actors Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor are making their Telugu debut with Koratala Siva's directorial. Saif will play the role of Bhaira. In addition, the movie features seasoned actors Prakash Raj, Srikanth Meka, Shruti Marate, Shine Tom Chacko, Murali Sharma, Narain, Kalaiyarasan, Chaithra Rai, and Abhimanyu Singh.

Sudhakar Mikkilineni and Kosaraju Harikrishna produced the movie under the Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts banners. R Rathnavelu was the cinematographer, and A Sreekar Prasad was the film's editor. For the first time with Devara, Anirudh Ravichander composed electrifying music and a background score for Jr NTR.
