Devara Pre-release Event Cancelled: Organizers Call Off Event Amid Worst Condition, Here's What Happened

Devara Pre-release Event Cancellation Reason: Devara Part 1 is the latest big thing in the Telugu film industry and the fans of Jr NTR are naturally excited for the release of the movie of the superstar. However, this went wrong on Sunday, that too at the pre-release event of the film for which the show itself had to be cancelled by the organizers.

Jr NTR's Devara Pre-release Event Cancellation Reason

The movie is all set to release on September 27, and with the 5 days remaining, the makers had organized a pre-release event in Hyderabad which had to be cancelled on Sunday after fans went berserk, after exceeding the capacity of the auditorium where it was supposed to take place. Furthermore, the crowd became unmanageable as they were trying to access the stage from all sides for which the superstar was asked not to leave for the venue. Reports further suggested that fans have damaged the hotel heavily while breaking the fans, windows and doors of the Novotel property.

Even filmmaker, who attended the pre-release event as the chief guest, was seen leaving the venue alongside Nagavamsi and Radhakrishna, among others.

Many criticized the organizers' 'improper planning' and allowing too many fans exceeding capacity.

The event was supposed to take place outside, however, it was shifted indoors because of rain. And when a large amount of gathering tried to get into the venue, the chaos couldn't have been avoided.

Devara, helmed by Siva Koratala, features Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor alongside Jr NTR. The movie will be released in Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, and Kannada languages.
