Devara Pre-Sales USA: Jr NTR's Action Drama Becomes First Indian Film To Earn $1 Million Before Trailer Launch

Devara Pre-Sales Touch $ 1 Million In The USA Before Trailer Release: Jr NTR made history with his latest hyped action drama 'Devara,' written and directed by Koratala Siva. The movie's theatrical trailer is going to be dropped today (September 10) at 5.04 PM and the advance bookings in the USA already touched $ 1 Million, a record feat. The movie features Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan as the female lead and antagonist respectively, marking their south-Indian debuts with Tollywood.

Devara Pre-Sales Make USD 1 Million

In what can be called as a record that is going to be tough to break, Jr NTR-Koratala Siva's hyped action drama made USD 1 Million from its pre-sales in the northern USA (advance bookings). Reaching $1 Million even before the trailer was launched, is a rare feat and Tarak easily achieved it with his second collaboration with Koratala Siva. All eyes are now set on the Devara trailer as fans are cheering for it from the last two days.

Speaking at a interview recently, Koratala Siva explained, " Devara will have high dose than Mirchi in action and mass elements. I told Tarak during 'Janatha Garage' that I want to downplay this and have planned a mega canvas film next, which is Devara. The action and mass elements will stand out."

Devara Cast

The movie stars Jr NTR aka Tarak as Devara. Bollywood actors Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor are making their Telugu debut with Koratala Siva's directorial. Saif will be seen playing the role of Bhaira. In addition, the movie features seasoned actors: Prakash Raj, Srikanth Meka, Shine Tom Chacko, Murali Sharma, Narain, Kalaiyarasan, Chaithra Rai, and Abhimanyu Singh among others playing important characters.

Devara Crew

Koratala Siva is the film's writer and director. Sudhakar Mikkilineni and Kosaraju Harikrishna are funding the project under their banners Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts. R Rathnavelu is cranking the camera, while A Sreekar Prasad is working on its editing. Anirudh Ravichander is on board to compose electrifying music and background score for Jr NTR.
