Devara Part 1 Trailer Released; Netizens & Fans REACT: The much-hyped and awaited theatrical trailer of Jr NTR's action drama, 'Devara' Part 1, was released amid fanfare in Mumbai on September 10. Fans of Jr NTR and the Nandamuri family have been waiting with bated breaths to catch the glimpse of Devara, written and directed by Koratala Siva. In the movie which is set against the coastal backdrop, Jr NTR is playing a dual role as Vara and Devara, a father and son. The trailer is super exciting and is poised for shattering all previous records.

The movie Devara holds a special place among Tarak's fans for many reasons. It is his solo release after a long gap of six years and the movie showcases the talent powerhouse in not one but two avatars. Koratala Siva collaborated with Jr NTR for the second time after Janatha Garage movie and the genre is completely different. The advance bookings in the north USA for Devara Part 1's release already created a first-ever record for an Indian film. Jr NTR's Devara is the first Indian film to earn USD 1 Million ($1 Million) from its pre-sales even before the theatrical trailer was dropped. The movie, which stars Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in their South-Indian debuts is going to be released in five languages all over the world on September 27.

The movie stars Jr NTR aka Tarak as Devara. Bollywood actors Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor are making their Telugu debut with Koratala Siva's directorial. Saif will be seen playing the role of Bhaira. In addition, the movie features seasoned actors: Prakash Raj, Srikanth Meka, Shine Tom Chacko, Murali Sharma, Narain, Kalaiyarasan, Chaithra Rai, and Abhimanyu Singh among others playing important characters.

Koratala Siva is the film's writer and director. Sudhakar Mikkilineni and Kosaraju Harikrishna are funding the project under their banners Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts. R Rathnavelu is cranking the camera, while A Sreekar Prasad is working on its editing. Anirudh Ravichander is on board to compose electrifying music and background score for Jr NTR.
