On Day 1, the movie earned around Rs. 82.5 Crores at the box office. Directed by Siva Kiratala, the has bagged an impressive amount of Rs. 450 Crores until now. According to the reports, the song Daavudi was initially cut from the movie. However, later the audience demanded the song. 123 Telugu reported Jr. NTR explaining the reason behind the omission of the song. The actor claimed that he and editor Sreekar Prasad felt that the song was disrupting the flow of the movie. Later, both decided to include the song in order to satisfy fans' demand.

Besides Jr. NTR, Devara also features Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in a vital role. Besides them, other actors present in the movie are Prakash Raj, Ajay, and Murali Sharma. The official synopsis of Devara: Part 1 reads, "An epic action saga set against coastal lands, which briefs about rip-roaring ,emotionally charged incidents in the periodic timeline, also comprises the titular protagonist being the rescuer to deprived and fear to evildoers." The leading OTT giant Netflix India shelled out huge money to acquire the post-release digital streaming rights of Devara: Part 1. The official release date of Devara OTT release is yet to be announced.
