Devara Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 2: Jr NTR's massive fan following across the world has all the reasons to be on cloud nine today and rightfully so. After all, the superstar is back after two years with his recent release Devara (Devara Part 1) and it is winning hearts. Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara happens to be an action drama and also features Saif Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Shruti Marathe, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, Narain, Kalaiyarasan and Murali Sharma in key roles. Needless to say, it has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year.

For the uninitiated, Devara revolves around the titular character (played by Jr NTR) who is willing to cross the oceans for the people he loves but often faces hurdles from his brother Bhaira (played by Saif Ali Khan). Interestingly, Janhvi Kapoor plays the role of Jr NTR's love interest. As Devara marks Janhvi and Saif's first collaboration, it also marks their first collaboration with Jr NTR. Interestingly, Jr NTR has opened to rave reviews not only in India but across the world.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Devara made an overseas collection of Rs 44 crores on the opening day. Interestingly, the movie saw a hike in the overseas collection on day 2 (first Sunday) wherein the Koratala Savi directorial minted Rs 55 crores in the overseas market.

Interestingly, Devara saw a phenomenal response at the worldwide box office. After raking in Rs 142 crores on day 1, Devara has inched close to Rs 200 crore mark on the first Sunday. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Devara made a worldwide box office collection of Rs 198 crores on day 2 (first Saturday).

Meanwhile, talking about his equation with Jr NTR during the trailer launch, Saif stated, "Tarak [Jr NTR] is a very easy-going person who wears his stardom lightly, which I like. Offset, he's a very friendly and welcoming person. We shared a good, lovely laugh even on the first day. He visited me in my van while I was waiting for a shot, which made me feel very comfortable"
