Did Suriya Apologize For Karthi's Laddu Remarks? Karthi, who is promoting his latest slice-of-life film titled 'Meiyazhan' which is called 'Satyam Sundaram' in Telugu, landed in a major and unnecessary controversy without his conscious involvement.

Karthi was in Hyderabad to promote his latest movie in which he shared screen space with Arvind Swami; produced by his brother Suriya and Jyotika under their 2D Entertainment banner. During the pre-release event, host Manjusha asked an inappropriate question involving the words laddu and motichoor laddu. She asked, "Laddu Kavala Nayana?"

Karthi smilingly replied, "Laddu is now a sensitive topic and let us not talk about it." Karthi won the appreciation of his fans and netizens with his sensible reaction but the issue was not that all. They came in his support and pointed fingers at the event's host for trying to make fun of the issue.

AP DCM Pawan Kalyan reacted by saying, "Don't joke on laddus. Laddu is a sensitive topic.. don't you ever say that. Don't you ever dare say that? I respect you as an actor but when it comes to Sanatana Dharma, please, you have to think 100 times before saying a word. one comment."

A tweet under the name Suriya Sivakumar's handle is going viral on the X site in which he supposedly asked for an apology. The fan account (parody) wrote, "I am deeply sorry for the comments made by my brother on laddu in the recent audio function and for that, I am also going for 3 Days Deeksha for my brother's words
