Double iSmart OTT: Ram Pothineni-Puri Jagannadh's Sequel Closes A Lucrative Digital Deal With THIS Platform

Double iSmart OTT Rights Sold: Maverick filmmaker Puri Jagannadh collaborated with Ram Pothineni for the sequel of the highly successful film 'iSmart Shankar' which brought him back to the success track. Titled 'Double iSmart,' the movie is going to be released worldwide on August 15.

The sequel carries high expectations as the character iSmart Shankar played by Ram was owned by the fans big time and has a special fan following. The sequel will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.

Shot extensively in Thailand, Hyderabad, and Mumbai, Ram Pothineni's Double iSmart movie reportedly picks up from where the first one 'iSmart Shankar' was left off. The sequel stars Sanjay Dutt as the 'Big Bull' in a powerful role in addition to the cast reprising their characters.

The recently released second single 'Maar Muntha Chod Chintha' was also met with a thumping applause. The filmmakers are planning to release another song followed by a theatrical trailer very soon.

Double iSmart Secures Ram Pothineni Career's Biggest OTT Deal
Reportedly, Ram Pothineni, who is reeling under back-to-back flops at the box office saw the highest-ever digital rights deal in his career to date with Double iSmart. As per the information, Amazon Prime Video agreed to secure the streaming rights for a whopping Rs 33 Crore.

Double iSmart Cast
The movie stars Ram Pothineni as Ustaad iSmart Shankar and Arun. Sanjay Dutt will be seen in the role of Big Bull along with Kavya Thapar, Sayaji Shinde, Bani J, Getup Srinu, Ali, Makarand Deshpande, Uttej, and Mustaweem Jhalaria among others in key roles.

Double iSmart Crew
For Double iSmart, Mani Sharma, the Swara Brahma, is composing the entire music and background score. Junaid Siddiqui is working as the editor. Gianni Giannelli and Shyam K. Naidu are working as the cinematographers. Puri Jagannath and Charmme Kaur are funding the project under the Puri Connects banners.
