Double iSmart OTT Release Date, Platform, & Time: Ram Pothineni's Actioner To Make An EARLY Streaming Debut?

Double iSmart EARLY OTT Debut? 'Double iSmart' is the latest action entertainer written and directed by Puri Jagannadh as a sequel to Ram Pothineni-starrer 'iSmart Shankar.' The movie was released to expectations on August 25 in five languages, marking the actor's first pan-India release. The sequel features Kavya Thapar as the female lead and Sanjay Dutt plays the antagonist's role as Big Bull.

Double iSmart Synopsis
In the sequel, Big Bull, a dangerous gangster and assassin wants to transfer his memories to Shankar. He wants to become immortal and chooses to do this on Shankar, who already has the chip of a special officer Arun. The climax is the showdown between Shankar and Big Bull.

Double iSmart To Make An Early Debut On OTT
The super hit action entertainer's sequel carried high expectations ahead of its release but the movie didn't perform at the box office as expected. The digital streaming rights of the movie are secured for a whopping Rs 33 Crore by one of the leading OTT giants Amazon Prime Video. The agreement was signed for six weeks post-release.

Now that the movie's theatrical run is not so encouraging Ram Pothineni's Double iSmart is expected to make an early debut. The actual date of Double iSmart's OTT release is September 5.

Double iSmart Cast
The movie stars Ram Pothineni as Ustaad iSmart Shankar and Arun. Sanjay Dutt will be seen in the role of Big Bull along with Kavya Thapar, Sayaji Shinde, Bani J, Getup Srinu, Ali, Makarand Deshpande, Uttej, and Mustaweem Jhalaria among others in key roles.

Double iSmart Crew
For Double iSmart, Mani Sharma, the Swara Brahma, is composing the entire music and background score. Junaid Siddiqui is working as the editor. Gianni Giannelli and Shyam K. Naidu are working as the cinematographers. Puri Jagannath and Charmme Kaur are funding the project under the Puri Connects banners.
