Double iSmart Theatrical Business: Puri Jagannadh, who faced severe flak with Liger joined hands with Ram Pothineni, awaiting success, for the second time. The duo delivered a success before in the form of 'iSmart Shankar,' which revived their careers, hoping to repeat the magic. Titled 'Double iSmart,' the action film will hit the screens worldwide on August 15.

The sequel features Kavya Thapar as the female lead and Sanjay Dutt as an antagonist. Makers of the film plan to make Double iSmart available in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.

Double iSmart Theatrical Business Fetches Rs 60 Crore!

After the amount of criticism and the losses that Liger incurred to Puri Connects, Puri Jagannadh's production banner in which Charmme is also a producer, there was speculation about the theatrical rights business for Double iSmart.

The theatrical rights of Ram Pothineni's sequel by Puri Jagannadh have been bought for a massive Rs 60 Crore, the highest so far in the actor's career. The amount derived for the same is kind of surprising to many. Expectations soared for the movie with this massive deal. In addition, the film's digital streaming rights have been bought for Rs 33 Crore by Amazon Prime Video while Rs 9 Crore was earned from Double iSmart's audio rights.

Double iSmart Cast

The movie stars Ram Pothineni as Ustaad iSmart Shankar and Arun. Sanjay Dutt will be seen in the role of Big Bull along with Kavya Thapar, Sayaji Shinde, Bani J, Getup Srinu, Ali, Makarand Deshpande, Uttej, and Mustaweem Jhalaria among others in key roles.

For Double iSmart, Mani Sharma, the Swara Brahma, is composing the entire music and background score. Junaid Siddiqui is working as the editor. Gianni Giannelli and Shyam K.
