Mass Raja Ravi Teja is back with a slick action thriller called 'Eagle' which was supposed to come to the screens for Sankranti. The movie finally was released worldwide on February 9 amid much fanfare and a great buzz. Cinematographer-cum-editor Karthik Ghattamaneni made his directorial debut with this movie funded by People Media Factory.

The movie made roughly about Rs 6 Crore from the first day box office collection in India. Eagle movie fell flat at the box office after the opening weekend and the movie's performance slowed down. However, the movie managed to earn upto Rs 18.85 Crore within six days after its theatrical release. The movie, however, hasn't seen the success the makers expected.

Ravi Teja's latest movie by Karthik Ghattamaneni was copied entirely by illegal websites that share content through unscrupulous websites and links. As the movie's positive talk started to spread, the links to its piracy and leaked content were all over the internet, causing a severe impact on the filmmakers as well as the enthusiastic fans.

Karthik Gattamneni along with Uthara are taking care of the film's editing. Davzand is the man behind the film's entire background score and music.
