Eagle is the most anticipated release of Tollywood's mass raja Ravi Teja. Originally set for a Sankranti release, the movie finally opened amid high hopes on February 9. Karthik Ghattamaneni, a popular cinematographer-cum-editor is making his directorial debut with this stylish action drama which showcased Ravi Teja in his stunning avatar, to date.

Ravi Teja will be seen playing the role of Sahadeva Varma in the movie. The story is also said to have been woven around three female characters. A girl is the cause of the story, one is who drives it through while another changes the entire story, said the director.

Sahadeva Varma, who runs a cotton mill in the Talakona forest region is an inquisitive man who was seen as quite influential. A journalist then unearths a secret and dark past of Sahadeva Varma, who is actually an assassin. He has been in hiding for over a decade and along with the Indian National Security agencies, there are also other enemies waiting to end him.
