'Family Star' is the upcoming romantic family drama starring Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur as the lead pair. The movie is currently on the set and Parasuram Petla is helming the project. Family Star marks the second association of Vijay Deverakonda and Parasuram after 'Geetha Govindam.'

Family Star's glimpse that was released recently stirred up the social media sites and Vijay Deverakonda again fell prey to the trolling of the epic dialogue, 'Ayiranevanchala enti.' Reportedly, Rashmika Mandanna, Geetha Govindam's heroine and the rumoured girlfriend of Vijay Deverakonda will be seen shaking her leg with the lead pair in a special song that was already picturized.

Vijay Deverakonda is keen on scoring a box office hit after delivering back-to-back flops including Puri Jagannadh's much-hyped multi-language release Liger featuring Ananya Pandey, and Samantha Ruth Prabhu-starrer 'Kushi' directed by Shiva Nirvana. The 'Arjun Reddy' actor pinned all of his good hopes on Family Star and is exuding confidence in this project as he and Prasuram delivered a blockbuster earlier.

There is a buzz in Tollywood about Vijay Deverakonda's Family Star release date. This romantic family drama, which has a similar genre to Geetha Govindam, is in its last leg of production while the post-production works are simultaneously happening.
