Vijay's GOAT Telugu Break-Even Target: Thalapathy Vijay's latest action-thriller in which he played a dual role as a father and son, 'The Greatest of All Time (GOAT) was released amid mammoth expectations on September 5. Venkat Prabhu thrilled the fans of Vijay as well as Ajith with this unique film which is going to be one of the remarkable films in Vijay's career yet.

GOAT Synopsis

Gandhi (Vijay) is a successful member of the Special Anti-Terrorist Squad (SATS) and is known for his terrorist mission in Kenya, under the leadership of Menon (Mohan). While in Bangkok, Gandhi finds out that his son Jeevan (Vijay) is dead and years later is shocked to see Jeevan alive and kicking in Russia. After they come home, unusual events start to take place forcing Gandhi to uncover the truth behind Jeevan's disappearance and reappearance.

GOAT Telugu Pre-Release Business & Break-Even Target

Thalapathy Vijay's movie The GOAT's Telugu version registered a pre-release theatrical business with Mythri Movie Makers. The rights were bought for an amount of Rs 21 Crore out of which Rs 12 Crore are exclusively spent for the rights across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The amount is higher in Vijay's Telugu box office career. The rights of The GOAT fetched more than 'Vaarasudu' and 'Leo.'

For The GOAT to enter the safe zone and become a clean hit in Telugu, it needs to earn Rs 35 Crore in gross from the two Telugu-speaking states. Leo itself collected about Rs 50 Crore in Telugu by the end of its theatrical release.

The much-hyped movie stars an ensemble cast of Vijay, Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Sneha, Laila, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Mohan, Jayaram, Ajmal Ameer, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Vaibhav, Premgi Amaren, Aravind Akash, and Ajay Raj among others in key roles.

Bankrolled by AGS Entertainment banner helmed by Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Ganesh, and Kalpathi S Suresh, the movie has its background score and entire music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Siddhartha Nuni is cranking the camera and Venkat Raajen is working as the film's editor.
