Guntur Kaaram Box Office Collection Day 1 Prediction: The movie that was much-awaited and highly-anticipated, Guntur Kaaram, superstar Mahesh Babu's third collaboration with writer-director Trivikram Srinivas, opened worldwide on January 12, for the Sankranti festival. The movie had an enormous buzz and it even minted over Rs 15 Crore in the first day's advance bookings. As much as the hype was real until the premieres finished, the movie disappointed big time.

For the fans of the superstar, this movie is supposed to become an epic blockbuster like Athadu, Pokiri, etc. Sadly, the movie didn't perform to the mark, drawing flak from the fans for lack of story and any other element that excited them, except for the presence of Mahesh Babu and his acting talent.

However, Guntur Kaaram is a feast for the die-hard fans of the superstar. He has been honing his dance skills for a while now and he unleashed his killer moves, enthralling the fans.

Guntur Kaaram Premise

Ramana (Mahesh Babu) lives with his father Satyam (Jayaram) after his mother Vasundhara (Ramya Krishnan) estranges him. She also bears witness to a murder committed by Satyam, sending him to jail. Meanwhile, Ramana is summoned by his maternal grandfather Venkata Swamy (Prakash Raj) to sign documents that deny any property rights. He demands to see his mother Vasundhara, who is now re-married. However, she refuses. The answers to these questions are all about Guntur Kaaram.

With the out-of-the-world hype for Mahesh Babu-Trivikram's combination, the movie Guntur Kaaram earned so much from the advance bookings. Mahesh Babu's stamina at the box office is estimated to make about Rs 50 Crore from India on its release day. These are only tentative figures.

The movie features Mahesh Babu, Sreeleela, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Jagapathi Babu, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Ramya Krishnan, Sunil, Brahmanandam, Raghu Babu, Mahesh Achanta among others in key roles.
The movie is being made on a massive budget of Rs 200 Crore. Trivikram Srinivas is the director and writer. S Radha Krishna is producing the movie under the Haarika and Hassine Creations banner. Thaman S is scoring the film's entire background score and tunes. Naveen Nooli and PS Vinod are working as the editor and cinematographer of Guntur Kaaram.
