Guntur Kaaram Box Office Prediction: Guntur Kaaram, superstar Mahesh Babu's hyped Sankranti family action drama was released to a massive fanfare on January 12. Written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas, one of the leading filmmakers of Tollywood, the movie carried sky-high expectations. Ahead of its release, the advance bookings and the opening day collections of Guntur Kaaram were phenomenal. Ramana (Mahesh Babu) lives with his father Satyam (Jayaram) after his mother Vasundhara (Ramya Krishnan) estranges him. She also bears witness to a murder committed by Satyam, sending him to jail. Meanwhile, Ramana is summoned by his maternal grandfather Venkata Swamy (Prakash Raj) to sign documents that deny any property rights. He demands to see his mother Vasundhara, who is now re-married.
