Superstar Mahesh Babu hit the screens this Sankranti with the highly anticipated movie helmed by Trivikram Srinivas. Titled Guntur Kaaram, the movie was supposed to be one of the record-breaking films in the career of Mahesh Babu. Unfortunately, although the movie did break some records, which is epic for a regional film, the response at the box office from fans and critics was underwhelming, making people question the purpose of the film.

Guntur Kaaram Premise

Ramana (Mahesh Babu) lives with his father Satyam (Jayaram) after his mother Vasundhara (Ramya Krishnan) estranges him. She also bears witness to a murder committed by Satyam, sending him to jail. Meanwhile, Ramana is summoned by his maternal grandfather Venkata Swamy (Prakash Raj) to sign documents that deny any property rights. He demands to see his mother Vasundhara, who is now re-married. However, she refuses. The answers to these questions are all about Guntur Kaaram.
