The movie that was much-awaited and highly-anticipated, Guntur Kaaram, featuring Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu, opened amid sky-high expectations and mass euphoria. The Trivikram Srinivas directorial was released in Telugu worldwide on January 12, for the Sankranti festival.

Upon its theatrical release, Guntur Kaaram impressed the fans of Mahesh Babu for his portrayal of 'Ramanagadu' character in the film, which otherwise had nothing to offer and bored the regular audiences. The movie's story and other aspects drew flak, making Guntur Kaaram one of the remarkable flops in Mahesh and Trivikram's careers.

Guntur Kaaram Premise

Ramana (Mahesh Babu) lives with his father Satyam (Jayaram) after his mother Vasundhara (Ramya Krishnan) estranges him. She also bears witness to a murder committed by Satyam, sending him to jail. Meanwhile, Ramana is summoned by his maternal grandfather Venkata Swamy (Prakash Raj) to sign documents that deny any property rights. He demands to see his mother Vasundhara, who is now re-married. However, she refuses. The answers to these questions are all about Guntur Kaaram.
