Guntur Kaaram New OTT Release Date & Time: Mahesh Babu-Trivikram's Family Drama To Arrive Early On Netflix

Mahesh Babu and Trivikram Srinivas' latest family action drama Guntur Kaaram was released amid sky-high expectations on January 12 for the Sankranti festival. Initially, the reviews have been pouring in positively but a section of fans are disappointed with the film's story.

Ramana (Mahesh Babu) lives with his father Satyam (Jayaram) after his mother Vasundhara (Ramya Krishnan) estranges him. She also bears witness to a murder committed by Satyam, sending him to jail. Meanwhile, Ramana is summoned by his maternal grandfather Venkata Swamy (Prakash Raj) to sign documents that deny any property rights. He demands to see his mother Vasundhara, who is now re-married. The movie Guntur Kaaram's digital streaming rights were sold to Netflix India for a whopping amount. As per the understanding, the movie is supposed to hit the OTT platform five weeks after its theatrical release. However, owing to the poor response and the box office collection controversy, which was coupled with the unexcitement around it, the movie might soon enter the digital streaming platform shortly.

Like Prabhas-Prashanth Neel's high-voltage action entertainer Salaar, which hit the screens on December 22 and made its way to Netflix on January 20, Mahesh Babu's Guntur Kaaram is also expected to make its OTT debut on February 10, as per the sources. The official announcement is awaited, however.
