Prasanth Varma, the writer-director-producer who made his Tollywood debut with Nani's production titled 'Awe' surprised and impressed the audiences with his skill. Ever since he has been doing films that tell a new tale or an old tale with a fresh narration that struck a chord with the audiences of today's generation. All of his Telugu films including Kalki and Zombie Reddy have a separate fan following.

When he announced HanuMan with Teja Sajja after Zombie Reddy again, nobody thought it would be of this scale and grandeur. HanuMan was made on a decent and strict budget of Rs 50 Crore reportedly. The movie exceeded expectations after it hit the screens and on day 3, it crossed all the boundaries, becoming the successful Sankranti release of 2024. After three weeks at the box office, HanuMan is continuing to mint money even after earning more than Rs 250 Crore worldwide.

HanuMan Premise

HanuMan is touted to be the first of its kind Indian superhero film in which the protagonist Hanumanthu will receive superpowers through Lord Hanuma's Rudhiramani. As the power-thirsty antagonist, Michael eyes his Rudhiramani to become a superhuman, his attempts are thwarted. He then wages a war to put an end to the atrocities that happen in his village called Anjanadri.

The movie surpassed the magic number of Rs 250 Crore at the worldwide box office recently. At the Indian box office, HanuMan is about to make Rs 180 Crore. HanuMan Cast

Teja Sajja played the protagonist Hanumanthu in HanuMan. Amritha Aiyer is his love interest Meenakshi, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is Hanumanthu's sister Anjamma. This first Telugu superhero film also boasts Vennela Kishore, Satya, Vinay Rai, Getup Srinu, Raj Deepak Shetty, Samuthirakani, Koushik Mahata, and Bhanu Prakash among others playing pivotal characters.
