HanuMan Earns Over Rs 13 Crore From Nizam Alone: Teja Sajja, the child actor who turned a lead actor and has done a couple of supporting roles before making it big with Zombie Reddy, is now taking the worldwide box office by surprise. He and his Zombie Reddy filmmaker Prasanth Varma have come up with a first-of-its-kind Indian superhero film blending the mythology with a story titled HanuMan. The movie which was released alongside Mahesh Babu-Trivikram Srinivas' Guntur Kaaram, is successfully continuing to run in the theatres to record-breaking revenue at the box office.

HanuMan is making a kill at the overseas and Indian box offices and set the registers ringing ever since it premiered on January 12. The movie is receiving so much love and appreciation. HanuMan is the first installment of Prasanth Varma's Cinematic Universe, where he wants to introduce and unite new superheroes.

HanuMan Premise

HanuMan is touted to be the first of its kind Indian superhero film in which the protagonist Hanumanthu will receive superpowers through Lord Hanuma's Rudhiramani. As the power-thirsty antagonist, Michael eyes his Rudhiramani to become a superhuman, his attempts are thwarted. He then wages a war to put an end to the atrocities that happen in his village called Anjanadri.

HanuMan's Box Office Records

After the release, HanuMan has been doing great as mentioned. The worldwide collection by the first week of its theatrical release stands at around Rs 129.45 Crore. In India, the movie already crossed Rs 100 Crore, all of this while being made on a strict budget. The movie is already an epic double blockbuster. The latest update adding a feather to HanuMan cap is the fact that the movie made over Rs 13 Crore from the most important Nizam region alone in the Telugu states.

HanuMan Cast

Teja Sajja played the protagonist Hanumanthu. Amritha Aiyer is his love interest Meenakshi, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is Hanumanthu's sister Anjamma. This first Telugu superhero film also boasts Vennela Kishore, Satya, Samuthirakani, Vinay Rai, Getup Srinu, Raj Deepak Shetty, Koushik Mahata, and Bhanu Prakash among others playing pivotal characters.

Written and directed by Prasanth Varma, HanuMan is the production venture of K Niranjan Reddy under his banner Prime Show Entertainment. Hari Gowra and Krishna Saurabh worked on the film's background score and music. Dasaradhi Sivendra cranked the camera while Saibabu Talari worked as the editor.
