HanuMan is the latest Telugu superhero movie written and directed by Prasanth Varma. The movie featuring Teja Sajja and Amritha Aiyer is going to be released on a huge scale in multiple languages on January 12 for Sankranthi. This movie is touted as the first installment of Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe.

HanuMan Premise

In a fictional village called Anjanadri, a youngster who is also an ardent devotee of Lord Hanuma, revolts against the goons for the greater good. He is then helped by Hanuma's impeccable powers to ward off the antagonists to save Anjandri.

Megastar Chiranjeevi Cameo As Lord Hanuma In HanuMan?

Megastar Chiranjeevi and his love for Lord Hanuman are well-known to Tollywood film buffs and fans. Teja Sajja made his acting debut at the age of 3 years with Chiranjeevi's 'Chudalani Vundi' and the duo then appeared in several films as a father and son.

It is now being rumoured that Chiranjeevi played a cameo as Lord Hanuma in HanuMan movie, which is, for now, an uncertain gossip. Director Prashanth Varma cleverly answered to this saying that he would like to keep it a surprise. On the other hand, the veteran is going to attend the pre-release event of this fictional movie on January 7 in Hyderabad.

HanuMan Cast

Teja Sajja will be seen in the protagonist's role Hanumanthu. Amritha Aiyer is his love interest Meenakshi, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is Hanumanthu's sister Anjamma. This first Telugu superhero film also boasts Vennela Kishore, Satya, Vinay Rai, Getup Srinu, Raj Deepak Shetty, Koushik Mahata, and Bhanu Prakash among others playing pivotal characters.

Written and directed by Prasanth Varma, HanuMan is the production venture of K Niranjan Reddy under his banner Prime Show Entertainment. Hari Gowra and Krishna Saurabh worked on the film's background score and music. Dasaradhi Sivendra cranked the camera while Saibabu Talari worked as the editor.
