Exclusive! Hanuman Actor Teja Sajja Reveals If Any Hindi Filmmaker Has Approached Him For A Bollywood Movie

One film that surprised everyone this year was Hanuman. The Prasanth Varma directorial starring Teja Sajja has become a blockbuster at the box office, and not just in Telugu, the movie has received a fantastic response in Hindi as well. It's a Telugu film which was dubbed in Hindi, and the Hindi version collected Rs. 48.49 crore which is very good for a movie which had no big South star or a well-known filmmaker's name attached to it.

Filmibeat recently interacted with Teja Sajja and asked him if he would be interested in doing just a Hindi film, and if he has already been approached by a Hindi filmmaker. To which the actor said, "If somebody thinks that I fit the character and can do justice to it, then definitely I will be more than interested to work anywhere accross India, but Hindi is a bit too ambitious."

"I think the lines have blurred now, we can make a film sitting back in Hyderabad, and yet cater it to the audience across the nation, if the content is such. But, as you asked if Hindi filmmakers want to cast me, so then it will be me working with the filmmaker and not about the language," he added.

When told him about the second part of the question about being apprpached by a Hindi filmmaker, he joked, "No, you didn't ask me that (laughs)." When probed that he is ignoring the question, he smiled and said, "Yes, I am trying to ignore it (laughs)."

At the end of Hanuman, the makers have announced a sequel titled Jai Hanuman. During an interaction with Filmibeat, filmmaker Prasanth Varma had revealed that he is in talks with one of the Bollywood stars to star in the movie.
