Is Pushpa 3 Shelved? Allu Arjun-Sukumar's exciting sequel Pushpa 2 The Rule is making a killing at the box office with its "all-time" industry records for an Indian cinema on its opening day. The movie starring Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil became the highest-grossing Indian film to date on its day 1 worldwide with Rs 294 Crore. As fans are revelling in the excellent cinematic experience with terrific performances, there are a few who didn't quite like the film in some parts.

There are a few reports that elaborate on how the lack of a proper conflict in Pushpa 2 comparing it with Baahubali 2 and KGF 2. The weak characterizations showcased on purpose (which might have an edge later) did not sit well with a section of the audience.

Although there is no official update or solid news about Pushpa 3 getting shelved, the rumour about the same is going viral. Pushpa 2 is entertaining no doubt but there are a few shortcomings, especially the climax fight which was stretched along with the regular and predictable emotional drama. The movie is raking the moolah no doubt but the filmmaker Sukumar drew some flak. The movie unleashed a new face of Allu Arjun proving his eligibility for the National Award which he won for Pushpa 1 The Rise.

While there is a buzz, we are sure that the project is very much on and not shelved because, there are many elements and scenes that have been connected, shot, and edited into the narrative of Pushpa 1 and now Pushap 2. The international deal with Japan, how and why Pushparaj go to Japan, the reason behind the introduction fight sequence in Pushpa 2, the consequences of killing Kogatam brother, the family drama, and the ego clash with Bhanwar Singh Shekawat, the bomb blast in the climax, who sent the bomb bouquet, did Bhanwar Singh Shekawat die, and who betrays Pushpa, why the glimpse of Pushpa 3's content was released first? All of these will have answers only in Pushpa 3.

Despite Sukumar receiving negativity for Pushpa 2, he is a genius and maverick filmmaker who is intelligent and has a purpose. Meanwhile, Allu Arjun has committed to another exciting project with Trivikram Srinivas, which will mark their fourth collaboration. Sukumar also signed another project with Ram Charan, their second after Rangasthalam, Ram Charan's milestone film in his career. Even if the sequel Pushpa 3 Rampage is on the cards, it won't start until 2026. More information is awaited, however.
