Amitabh Bachchan Apologizes To Prabhas' Fans: Ahead of its worldwide pan-India release in as many as five languages on June 27, Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Deepika Padukone's sci-fi drama with a mythological backdrop titled 'Kalki 2898 AD,' written and directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Nag Ashwin is now the talk of the country.

The makers of the film, Vyjayanthi Movies have spent a massive Rs 600 Crore on the production of this costliest film to date in India, which is one of its kind, in terms of infusing Indian mythology and science fiction with a futuristic setup. The movie's advance booking collections are now setting fire to the previous records both in India and abroad.

Prabhas recently shared about his character Bhairava and said, "My character has a lot of grey shades. I will be seen as a superhero, and there is also a humor touch to it. Telugu audiences have seen me in roles like these before. But for non-Telugu audiences, this is the first time they will be watching me in a funny character with grey shades. I think this is the best character I have ever played in my life."

Amitabh Bachchan Says 'Sorry' To Prabhas' Fans; Here's Why!

In a recent interaction where the film's stellar cast came together in Mumbai to celebrate the release of Kalki 2898 AD, Amitabh Bachchan spoke about his scenes with Prabhas. The legendary veteran said, "When Nagi came to me with the script, he showed me pictures of how my character and Bhairava characters are designed. He told me that I had to hit Bhairava in Kalki. I have so many fighting scenes with Prabhas' character in the film. All his fans I apologize to you do not troll me." In reaction, Prabhas responded, "Sir, they are all your fans as well."

This epic mythological sci-fi film stars Prabhas as Bhairava, a bounty hunter, Amitabh Bachchan as Ashwattama, Kamal Haasan as Supreme Yaskin, Deepika Padukone as SUM-80, Disha Patani as Roxie, Saswata Chatterjee as Commander Manas, Brahmanandam as Rajan, Bhairava's landlord, Pasupathy as Veeram, a rebel from Shambhala, Anna Ben as Kyra, Shobana, Harshith Malgireddy, Rajendra Prasad, and Keerthy Suresh (voice-over) as BU-JZ-1 alias Bujji.

The movie was written and directed by Nag Ashwin. Vyjayanthi Movies banner is bankrolling the film on a massive budget of Rs 600 Crore. Djordje Stojilijkovic is cranking the camera for this science fiction action thriller. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao worked as the film's editor. Santhosh Narayanan is the film's music composer.
