Kalki 2898 AD Earns Rs 950 Crore Worldwide In 12 Days: Prabhas' latest expensive film of the country featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan among others in prominent roles, Kalki 2898 AD was released to a thumping response worldwide on June 27 in five languages. The movie was written and directed by Nag Ashwin, on a budget of Rs 600 Crore.

According to the official poster released by Vyjayanthi Movies, Prabhas' Kalki 2898 AD movie surpassed the Rs 950 Crore mark at the global box office and is racing towards the magical milestone. The makers are now pumped for the film to join Rs 1000 Crore. It is expected that the movie will become the third Telugu film after Baahubali 2 and RRR to achieve this feat.

Kalki 2898 AD Synopsis
Set in the dystopian city named Kashi, Kalki 2898 AD follows the story of Bhairava (Prabhas) a bounty hunter whose only aim is to move to the Complex ruled by the Supreme Yaskin. There is Ashwattama, who has been waiting to find SUM 80 and her child in the womb. When Bhairava sets off to capture SUM 80, he has to face Ashwattama and other forces.
