Films Prabhas Rejected Before Kalki 2898 AD: Prabhas is today the pan-India superstar who is pushing all the boundaries for the Indian cinema with only his image in the global arena. The actor, who is a 'Darling' to his fans set a massive benchmark for other star-studded films in terms of figures with his latest release, a sci-fi action drama titled 'Kalki 2898 AD.' The movie is a sensation at the box office worldwide, following its release on June 27 in five languages.

In his career spanning 22 years, Prabhas has only acted in 22 films. He definitely made poor choices in the earliest days of his movie career and in fact, for more than half of his entire career to date. Here is a list of movies Prabhas rejected that went on to become blockbuster hits.

Okkadu: Starring Superstar Mahesh Babu and Bhumika Chawla in the lead roles, the movie written and directed by Gunasekhar is an industry hit back when it was released. Prabhas was offered the movie as a first choice but he rejected the movie saying that he didn't like the script.

Simhadri: Had Prabhas agreed to do this mass action entertainer helmed by SS Rajamouli, we would have been introduced to the epic combination of Prabhas and Rajamouli a bit earlier. Starring Jr NTR, Simhadri is one of the most remarkable films in the career of Tarak as well as SS Rajamouli, which sealed their stardom in the industry at once. Tarak attained super stardom and mass image with Simhadri.

Arya: Should we say anything about Sukumar, Allu Arjun, and Devi Sri Prasad's 'Arya'? The movie which changed the fate of Allu Arjun as an actor paving the way for his National Award with 'Pushpa' was first offered to Prabhas. Prabhas denied the story saying that it wouldn't suit his image.

Nayak: Ram Charan and VV Vinayak's Nayak in which the actor played a dual role, was first offered to Prabhas. The movie starred Kajal Aggarwal and Amala Paul. Prabhas rejected the movie even though he enjoys a good relationship with VV Vinayak.

Brindavanam: Jr NTR, Samantha, and Kajal Aggarwal-starrer family action drama written and directed by Vamshi Paidipally was a super duper success. The movie brought back Jr NTR to the form after back-to-back flops. However, Prabhas rejected the movie before Tarak scored a hit.

Kick: Ravi Teja's career reached a peak with Surender Reddy's film Kick, in which he played a different character, which amused his fans. The movie was a big success and before it materialized, Prabhas rejected the movie.
