Kalki 2898 AD: Nani's Cameo Confirmed In Prabhas-Deepika Padukone's Sci-Fi Film; All We Know About His Role

Nani To Play A Cameo Of Mythological Character In Kalki 2898 AD: Prabhas, the pan-India star is ready with a star-studded sci-fi thriller set in the dystopian world titled Kalki 2898 AD. Written and directed by Nag Ashwin, the movie is now ready to hit the screens in a couple of hours in five languages. Deepika Padukone is the female lead along with a plethora of actors. The movie is going to be released worldwide on June 27 with premieres in the USA.

Kalki 2898 AD Synopsis

The movie is panned from the period of 3100 BC to 2898 AD making it a mythological science fiction genre. Bhairava, a resident of a post apocalyptic city Kashi, wants to earn enough units to move to The Complex, a city where there is everything and only for the elite. On the other hand, there is also a city called Shambala, which is a refugee camp for the down trodden. Meanwhile, Aswattama, who vows to protect the child of Sumathi aka SUM 80, faces Bhairava, who is on a mission to capture SUM 80 to go to the Complex.

Nani's Cameo In Kalki 2898 AD

Natural star Nani, who has a generous fanbase across the country, is part of this star-studded mythological sci-fi film produced by Vyjayanthi Movies. Nag Ashwin made his directorial debut in Tollywood with Nani-starrer 'Yevade Subramanyam,' which was also funded by the same production banner. The movie was a box office success and now that the film is rumoured to have several cameos of the actors who worked with the banner previously, Nani too is going to be seen in the mythological character Abhimanyudu in Kalki 2898 AD.

On the other hand, Nani is shooting for his next, an action thriller with a heavy dose of comedy titled 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram.' He plays the character named Surya under the direction of Vivek Athreya. SJ Suryah, Aditi Balan, Sai Kumar, Subhalekha Sudhakar, and Priyanka Mohan are part of the film's cast.
