Kalki 2898 AD South Languages OTT Release Date Revealed: Made as their prestigious 50th-year milestone production on a massive budget of Rs 600 Crore, the costliest in India so far, Kalki 2898 AD started to break existing and create new global records even before it hit the screens through its pre-release business and advance ticket sales.

Kalki 2898 AD Synopsis
Set in the dystopian city named Kashi, Kalki 2898 AD follows the story of Bhairava (Prabhas) a bounty hunter whose only aim is to move to the Complex ruled by the Supreme Yaskin. There is Ashwattama, who has been waiting to find SUM 80 and her child in the womb. When Bhairava sets off to capture SUM 80, he faces Ashwattama and other forces.

The movie is finally gearing up for the much-awaited grand digital release. Following its stellar theatrical release on June 27 in five languages, Kalki 2898 AD will make its streaming debut on not one but two platforms. Amazon Prime Video and Netflix bought the streaming rights to the movie which boasts super talent like Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Deepika Padukone among others. Going by the latest update, the movie Kalki 2898 AD is reportedly hitting the OTT platforms on August 22 on Prime Video in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. The Hindi version's OTT date is yet to be revealed.

This epic mythological sci-fi film stars Prabhas as Bhairava, a bounty hunter, Amitabh Bachchan as Ashwattama, Kamal Haasan as Supreme Yaskin, Deepika Padukone as SUM-80, Disha Patani as Roxie, Saswata Chatterjee as Commander Manas, Brahmanandam as Rajan, Bhairava's landlord, Pasupathy as Veeram, a rebel from Shambhala, Anna Ben as Kyra, Shobana, Harshith Malgireddy, Rajendra Prasad, and Keerthy Suresh (voice-over) as BU-JZ-1 alias Bujji.

The movie was written and directed by Nag Ashwin. Vyjayanthi Movies banner is bankrolling the film on a massive budget of Rs 600 Crore. Djordje Stojilijkovic is cranking the camera for this science fiction action thriller. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao worked as the film's editor. Santhosh Narayanan is the film's music composer.
