Kalki 2898 AD OTT Release, Platform, & Time: Prabhas' latest mythological science fiction drama, Kalki 2898 AD hit the screens worldwide on June 27 in five languages amid mammoth expectations. The sci-fi movie set in the future has Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan, and Disha Patani in prominent roles. Vyjayanthi Movies banner shelled out a whopping Rs 600 Crore on making this pan-India epic film.

After the movie was released worldwide on over 8500 screens, Prabhas' film earned positive responses from critics and fans for its stellar casting, rich and brilliant visuals, setup, and theme. Despite a few flaws in the narration, dubbing, and the score that didn't add up to the narrative, the movie is getting high figures at the box office.

Kalki 2898 AD Synopsis
Set in the dystopian city named Kashi, Kalki 2898 AD follows the story of Bhairava (Prabhas) a bounty hunter whose only aim is to move to the Complex ruled by the Supreme Yaskin. There is Ashwattama, who has been waiting to find SUM 80 and her child in the womb. When Bhairava sets off to capture SUM 80, he has to face Ashwattama and other forces.

Kalki 2898 AD OTT Release Date

The post-theatrical digital streaming rights of Prabhas' Kalki 2898 AD have been sold to two leading OTT giants. With the OTT deal, the filmmakers earned a whopping Rs 375 Crore. Amazon Prime Video bagged the streaming rights for an amount of Rs 200 Crore for all the south languages while Netflix spent Rs 175 Crore for the film's Hindi streaming rights. Owing to the scale of the film and the grandeur of its release, there is a buzz that Kalki 2898 AD will not make its OTT debut until two months.

This epic mythological sci-fi film stars Prabhas as Bhairava, a bounty hunter, Amitabh Bachchan as Ashwattama, Kamal Haasan as Supreme Yaskin, Deepika Padukone as SUM-80, Disha Patani as Roxie, Saswata Chatterjee as Commander Manas, Brahmanandam as Rajan, Bhairava's landlord, Pasupathy as Veeram, a rebel from Shambhala, Anna Ben as Kyra, Shobana, Harshith Malgireddy, Rajendra Prasad, and Keerthy Suresh (voice-over) as BU-JZ-1 alias Bujji.

The movie was written and directed by Nag Ashwin. Vyjayanthi Movies banner is bankrolling the film on a massive budget of Rs 600 Crore. Djordje Stojilijkovic is cranking the camera for this science fiction action thriller. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao worked as the film's editor. Santhosh Narayanan is the film's music composer.
