Nag Ashwin Opens Up About Kalki 2898 AD Part 2: Tollywood's talented filmmaker Nag Ashwin, who climbed the ladder of global fame with Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Amitabh Bachchan-starrer 'Kalki 2898 AD,' a sci-fi mythological drama, is one person who is being lauded and celebrated like never before. The movie which was released on June 27 in five languages all over the world took Indian cinema to new heights and Kalki 2898 AD re-wrote all the existing records by any Indian film to date and set the mark higher.

Nag Ashwin Confirms Roping In Nani & Naveen Polishetty

In a recent interaction with the press, filmmaker Nag Ashwin spoke at length about the movie and its sequel. The writer-director also spoke about the possibility of bringing more heroes and actors into the Kalki universe. For the sequel, he said, "I will surely bring actors Nani and Navee Polishetty into Kalki 2898 AD Part 2. In the first part, I couldn't find the space to bring in those actors."

It is to be noted that Nagi turned director with Nani-starrer 'Yevade Subramanyam.' He then also funded the movie 'Jathi Ratnalu,' which was directed by Anudeep KV and features Naveen Polishetty as the lead.

Cameos In Kalki 2898 AD

Actors who worked with Vyjayanthi Banners under the production and direction of Nag Ashwin, Swapna Dutt, and Priyanka Dutt appeared in Kalki 2898 AD in cameos. Mrunal Thakur, Vijay Deverakonda, Dulquer Salmaan, Faria Abdullah, Anudeep KV, Ram Gopal Varma, SS Rajamouli, and Santhosh Narayanan sizzled in the small roles.

Nani's Work Front
Nani is currently working on his third collaboration with writer-director Vivek Athreya for a comedy-actioner titled Saripodhaa Sanivaaram. Priyanka Mohan is the female lead and S.J. Suryah is playing a key role. The movie is going to hit the screens on August 29. In addition, the actor is going to announce his other project very soon.

Naveen Polishetty's Work Front
The movie after Jathi Ratnalu, produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, Naveen shared the screen space with Anushka Shetty in Miss. Shetty Mr. Polishetty. He is currently working on a movie titled Anaganaga Oka Raju.
