Kalki 2898 AD: Prabhas aka Bhairava Limps As He Arrives At Pre-Release Event In Mumbai; Watch Video

Prabhas Limping At Kalki 2898 AD Pre-Release Event: After creating immense buzz in the town, Nag Ashwin's much talked about Kalki 2898 AD is all set to hit the screens next week and the audience can't keep calm about it. To note, first motion picture instalment of the planned Kalki Cinematic Universe and is set in a post-apocalyptic world, in the year 2898 AD. Also starring Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Disha Patani and Kamal Haasan in the lead, Kalki 2898 AD has managed to create a massive buzz in the town.

And now, a week ahead of the release, the makers have organised a pre-release event in Mumbai which has been attended by the entire cast. While Deepika Padukone's panache was unmatched in her black gown, Prabhas was seen exuding charm in his black t-shirt, trendy jacket and jeans. As everyone was in absolute awe of Prabhas' swag at the event, he was seen limping as he arrived and the video of the same is breaking the internet.

In the viral video, as Prabhas arrived at Kalki 2898 AD event, he was seen limping and finding it difficult to walk as he entered the venue. It was evident that Prabhas was having a pain in the knee but the superstar made sure to have a smile on his face as he graced the event. For the uninitiated, Prabhas had undergone a knee surgery early this year as he has been suffering a pain in the knee for a while now.

Meanwhile, as Kalki 2898 AD will reportedly chronicle some events of the Mahabharata in the year of 3102 BC, Nag Ashwin in his interaction with Deadline stated that the movie "does not involve any characters actively worshipped by large numbers of Hindus". He further asserted, "We can take it as extremely religious or we can take it as the story of somebody who was born with a lot of power, didn't know what to do with it, and found his mentor in the process".
