Kalki 2898 AD Breaks Jailer & Leo's Life Time Collections: Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan-starrer epic mythological science fiction actioner Kalki 2898 AD is now shaking the box office records worldwide. Written and directed by Nag Ashwin, and made on a budget of Rs 600 Crore, the movie has already earned over Rs 725 Crore and is marching towards attaining the coveted Rs 1000 Crore membership within this week.

Kalki 2898 AD was released worldwide in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi on June 27 to sky-high expectations and remarkable openings. The movie set a new benchmark in terms of its pre-sales, openings, opening weekend and first week collections worldwide.

Kalki 2898 AD Synopsis

The movie is set in the future in a fictional city called Kashi. Prabhas will be seen playing the character of Bhairava, whose aim is to earn more units and move to the Complex. He then finds and signs up for SUM 80. Ashwattama, meanwhile, vows to protect SUM 80 and her child. What happens next? is all about Kalki 2898 AD.

Kalki 2898 AD stars Prabhas as Bhairava, a bounty hunter, Amitabh Bachchan as Ashwattama, Kamal Haasan as Supreme Yaskin, Deepika Padukone as SUM-80, Disha Patani as Roxie, Saswata Chatterjee as Commander Manas, Brahmanandam as Rajan, Bhairava's landlord, Pasupathy as Veeram, a rebel from Shambhala, Anna Ben as Kyra, Shobana, Harshith Malgireddy, Rajendra Prasad, and Keerthy Suresh (voice-over) as BU-JZ-1 alias Bujji.

Kalki 2898 AD was written and directed by Nag Ashwin. Vyjayanthi Movies banner is bankrolling the film on a massive budget of Rs 600 Crore.
