The movie has an interesting mix of Indian mythology 'Mahabharata' dating back to 3100 BC to the future set in 2898 AD. The movie is about the prophesied 10th avatar of Vishnu called Kalki, who appears on the earth after the end of Kali Yugam. It begins as Krishna's avatar departs from the world.

Bhairava, a resident of a post-apocalyptic city Kashi, wants to earn enough units to move to The Complex, a city where there is everything and only for the elite. On the other hand, there is also a city called Shambala, which is a refugee camp for the downtrodden. Meanwhile, Aswattama, who vows to protect the child of Sumathi aka SUM 80, faces Bhairava, who is on a mission to capture SUM 80 to go to the Complex.
