Kalki 2898 AD Cameos: Who Is Playing Who? Kalki 2898 AD starring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Deepika Padukone among others in lead roles is now ready to roar on the silver screens worldwide. The movie is hitting screens with a mammoth pre-release buzz on June 27.

As we reported earlier, the popular faces of Vyjayanthi Movies are going to make striking cameos in this high-budget, India's most expensive film Kalki 2898 AD, written and directed by Nag Ashwin. Kalki 2898 AD is going to be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.

Kalki 2898 AD Synopsis
The movie is set in the future in a fictional city called Kashi. Prabhas will be seen playing the character of Bhairava, whose aim is to earn more units and move to the Complex. He then finds and signs up for SUM 80. Ashwattama, meanwhile, vows to protect SUM 80 and her child. What happens next? is all about Kalki 2898 AD.

Kalki 2898 AD Larger-Than-Life Cameos
It has been reported earlier that the movie bankrolled by Vyjayanthi Movies had roped in all their recent actors for various cameos in Kalki 2898 AD. The names of Mrunal Thakur, Vijay Deverakonda, Nani, and Dulquer Salmaan have done the rounds on the internet. However, after the release trailer was dropped, fans were surprised to see Malvika Nair in it.

Now, an enthusiastic fan who goes by the name Silver Lining on the micro-blogging site X (Twitter) put out a tweet elaborating on which actor is playing which character as a cameo in the film. This is just a theory and there might not be any truth to it. According to him, while Malvika Nair plays the role of Uttara, as depicted in the trailer, Dulquer Salmaan will be seen as Parikshit, Vijay Deverakonda as Arjuna, and Nani as Abhimanyudu.

Rana Daggubati, who is close friends with Nag Ashwin and the producers Swapna Dutt and Priyanka Dutt, is also said to be part of the movie's cameos. If the information is anything to go by, Rana Daggubati will be playing the role of Duryodhana. The role of Krishna is still a surprise. Check out the tweet below.

This epic mythological sci-fi film stars Prabhas as Bhairava, a bounty hunter, Amitabh Bachchan as Ashwattama, Kamal Haasan as Supreme Yaskin, Deepika Padukone as SUM-80, Disha Patani as Roxie, Saswata Chatterjee as Commander Manas, Brahmanandam as Rajan, Bhairava's landlord, Pasupathy as Veeram, a rebel from Shambhala, Anna Ben as Kyra, Shobana, Harshith Malgireddy, Rajendra Prasad, and Keerthy Suresh (voice-over) as BU-JZ-1 alias Bujji.

The movie was written and directed by Nag Ashwin. Vyjayanthi Movies banner is bankrolling the film on a massive budget of Rs 600 Crore. Djordje Stojilijkovic is cranking the camera for this science fiction action thriller. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao worked as the film's editor. Santhosh Narayanan is the film's music composer.
