Kalki 2898 AD Pre-Release Event: Prabhas' upcoming marvel, Kalki 2898 AD is gearing up to hit the screens worldwide on June 27. The sci-fi movie set in the future has Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan, and Disha Patani in prominent roles. Vyjayanthi Movies banner shelled out a whopping Rs 600 Crore.

Speaking on the occasion, Prabhas said, "I was tortured for three years with this Bujji by our lanky director Nagi. He tagged me to Bujji. I prefer Bujji's body but her brains ate me away, quipped the actor.

Speaking on the occasion, Prabhas thanked Kamal Haasan and Amitabh Bachchan profusely for being part of Kalki 2898 AD. He shared an incident where he went to his mother and wanted to have the same costume as Kamal Haasan from the epic 'Sagara Sangamam.' I got the same costume stitched and practiced the head movement, shared with the actor. The specially cut teaser glimpse for Bhairava's Bujji was played twice, and it enthralled the fans and movie lovers.

He started his speech by apologizing to his fans for the strict and distant fencing, which was for their security. First and foremost, the most important thing about this film is my wonderful opportunity to work with Kamal sir and Amitabh sir.

The whole of India is inspired by these two legends and in the south, Kamal sir is a legend, north Indians are proud of Amitabh sir. We are lucky to have you in our film Deepika, thank you for being part of the film. I thank my producers for giving me this opportunity.
