Prabhas, who enthralled his fans with his notable collaboration with none other than writer-director Prashanth Neel for Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire, is now fully involved in the production of his upcoming films including The Raja Saab and the most prestigious venture titled Kalki 2898 AD. This star-studded film is making headlines for every update.

The recent buzz around Kalki 2898 AD aka Project K is coming from the film's musician Santhosh Narayanan. The star composer, who worked on National Award-winning Tamil and Telugu films replaced Mickey J. Meyer for this humongous production. The movie's filming is nearing the end while the post-production works have already began simultaneously.

As per the latest reports, Santhosh Narayanan is said to have talked about his experience and work on Prabhas' Kalki 2898 AD. He was quoted saying by a leading entertainment website, "Prabhas is a phenomenon. I am creating something very special for Prabhas' introduction in the movie. I am redoing the introduction work as it has to be big, and it has to be mass."

After this snippet from Santhosh Narayanan's latest interview went viral, the expectations for fans on Project K have leveled up.

Kalki 2898 AD Release On May 9
The makers, Vyjayanthi Movies, and the director Nag Ashwin are sentimental about May 9 when it comes to releasing their films. From Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari in 1990 to Mahanati in 2018, these two movies which were released on May 9 have changed the fate of this production banner. To make sure that they don't miss out on this opportunity this year, they have zeroed in on May 9 2024 for Project K's mega worldwide theatrical release.

Kalki 2898 AD Cast
The epic mythological sci-fi film boasts of Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani among others playing crucial roles. Pasupathy and Saswata Chatterjee are also part of the movie cast.

The filming finally began in July 2021 at a futuristic set designed and erected at Ramoji Film City. The Production department also commissioned high-end vehicles for the film for which they collaborated with Mahindra & Mahindra.

The movie is being helmed by Nag Ashwin. Vyjayanthi Movies banner is bankrolling the film on a massive budget of Rs 600 Crore. Djordje Stojilijkovic is cranking the camera for this science fiction action thriller. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao worked as the film's editor. Santhosh Narayanan is the film's music composer.
