Prabhas' Kalki 2898 AD is the first ever science fiction film being made in India with a stellar cast roped in for pivotal roles. The makers of the film boast of their casting which includes Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani among others. We might also expect several stunning cameos in the form of Dulquer Salmaan, Vijay Deverakonda, and Rana.

The filmmakers recently released a glimpse of Prabhas' Kalki 2898 AD showcasing Prabhas in the title role, and fans went crazy over it. The makers are working at lightning speed to complete the shooting. The dubbing and post-production works are going in tandem simultaneously.

The amount of VFX for Kalki 2898 AD is rather huge and the makers now have only two months to get the desired output. At the very same time, if the out is not up to the mark, it would cost them a lot not only in terms of money. The team also wants to spend a solid two months to promote the movie. The shooting part is yet to be finished. Going by these factors that are pivotal for a film's theatrical release, Kalki 2898 AD might not be able to come on time. However, the makers are yet to comment on it.

Mrunal Thakur Cameo In Kaklki 2898 AD?
Nag Ashwin is known to rope in the leading young stars in his films. Many stars like Vijay Deverakonda, etc shined in his previous films. Joining the line is none other than Mrunal Thakur, the sensational 'Sita Ramam' beauty. The 'Hi Nanna' actress is reportedly in talks for a cameo and she might most likely go ahead for it, as per a report on a leading entertainment website.

The epic mythological sci-fi film boasts of Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani among others playing crucial roles. Pasupathy and Saswata Chatterjee are also part of the movie cast.

The movie is being helmed by Nag Ashwin. Vyjayanthi Movies banner is bankrolling the film on a massive budget of Rs 600 Crore. Djordje Stojilijkovic is cranking the camera for this science fiction action thriller. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao worked as the film's editor. Santhosh Narayanan is the film's music composer.
