Kalki 2898 AD: Shobana Returns To Telugu Screen After 18 Years With Prabhas' Sci-Fi Drama; Details Inside

Pan-India star Prabhas career's biggest and costliest film to date, Kalki 2898 AD is now going to take over the Indian screens on a global level within a few weeks. The stellar science fiction film produced by Vyjayanthi Movies under the direction of Nag Ashwin, who made the National Award-winning 'Mahanati,' is ready for its grand theatrical debut on June 27.

Kalki 2898 AD is the latest and biggest film being made in the country on a massive budget of Rs 600 Crore. Featuring an ensemble cast including Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, and Rajendra Prasad among others, the movie is going to be the biggest film of all the cast and crew's careers.

While it is now reported that the trailer of Kalki 2898 AD will be dropped on June 7 in a big-scale event in Mumbai, the latest information says that the date has been postponed to June 9. The entire cast and crew are expected to be present during the event. However, there is no official confirmation of the same.

The movie has official cameos of Nani, Vijay Deverakonda, Dulquer Salmaan, and Mrunal Thakur along with the voice of Keerthy Suresh for Bujji. In addition to these above names, there is also a rumour that yesteryear actress, danseuse Shobana is also part of the film's interesting and star-studded cameos. A report on Sakshi claims that there is a possibility of Shobana's cameo and that the filmmakers are keeping a few things secret until the big reveal.
