Is Deepika Padukone Playing Prabhas' Mother In Kalki 2898 AD? The highly-awaited theatrical trailer of the prestigious film of 2024, Kalki 2898 AD, the costliest Indian film to date is finally out. The makers of the film Vyjayanthi Movies of Tollywood made this Rs 600 Crore visual brilliance under the direction of Nag Ashwin, who wrote the movie and its screenplay.

Kalki 2898 AD is going to hit the screens worldwide on a humongous note on June 27 in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. Prabhas, who became the ultimate pan-India star is going to take the box office records to a ride and set a new benchmark with this star-studded and never-seen-before scale of film.

On the other hand, Prabhas' Kalki 2898 AD secured the highest-ever digital rights (OTT) deal with not just one but two streaming platforms. Leading OTT giants Netflix and Amazon Prime Video have spent Rs 375 Crore together on this exciting and crazy expensive film.

Is Padma Bhairava's Mother In Kalki 2898 AD?

In the theatrical trailer, we can see Deepika Padukone's character Padma interacting with Ashwattama played by Amitabh Bachchan where he tells her that she is not bearing an ordinary child and that he will safeguard the 'creation.'

In another scene, Bhairava is seen saying 'Hi' to a person and it is cut to Padma's character replying with a 'Hi.' However, people who have a keen eye could easily make out that they are both from different scenes and it was not Bhairava to whom Padma replied.

Padma's character then is seen frustrated about the number of deaths it takes for the yet-to-be-born child of her in the movie Kalki 2898 AD. Since the movie pans from 6000 BC to 2898 AD, enthusiastic fans are wondering if Padma is Bhairava's mother and will travel to the past to see his mother. There is also a possibility that Prabhas plays a dual role in the movie. However, as these are just speculations, only the full movie will answer the questions. Meanwhile, fans couldn't get enough of the trailer and are drunk over it, celebrating.
