Kalki 2898 AD Trailer Release Update: One of the biggest and highly-awaited films of the year, Prabhas-starrer Kalki 2898 AD is now ready to go big on the promotions as the release date is around the corner. Vyjayanthi Movies is finalizing the pre-release event plans to promote the movie on a large scale like never before, to ensure it earns as much attention as possible, globally.

Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Amitabh Bachchan played key roles in the film which was written and directed by Nag Ashwin. The movie, a science fiction thriller is going to hit the screens worldwide on June 27 in five languages. The movie is also releasing in the IMAX format.

The makers of the film, who organized a massive character introduction event in Hyderabad on May 22 and brought Bujji to the fans, are now gearing up with the film's theatrical trailer.

While it was earlier reported that the theatrical trailer of Prabhas' Kalki 2898 AD's film will be released on June 7 in Mumbai, the latest buzz around the movie's trailer is saying otherwise. Reportedly, the producers of Vyjayanthi Movies banner, who bankrolled the project on a whopping budget of Rs 600 Crore, are awaiting the election result of Andhra Pradesh General Elections, to plan their pre-release events.

On the occasion of the counting day, it is now said to be believed that the trailer release event will be postponed to June 9. There is no official confirmation about the same. Also, the producers are looking to organize another major event in Andhra Pradesh if Telugu Desam Party wins.
