Karthikeya 2 Sequel Update: After winning the prestigious and unexpected 'National Best Film' award at the 70th edition of the Indian National Awards for Films under the 'Best Regional Film' category, Nikhil Siddhartha's recent sensation hit the headlines. Karthikeya 2, his first pan-India film was a trendsetter for the tier 2 heroes and its massive success is a testament.

Karthikeya 2 is a sequel to the super hit film 'Karthikeya' (2014) which also features Nikhil Siddhartha as an inquisitive medico who sets out to bust the myth behind a superstition. The movie was a box office success and after many years, Chandoo Mondeti came up with the script for Karthikeya 2 movie, with an anticipation to make it appealing to the northern audiences.

Accordingly, Karthikeya 2 registered a tremendous success at the box office winning applause worldwide. The recognition from the National Film Awards is just like a cherry on top of the cake.

Karthikeya 3 Sequel Update

After the epic win and downpouring of best wishes, Chandoo Mondeti, who is currently busy helming 'Thandel' with Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi revealed an interesting update about the sequel. The movie is in the pre-production stage and the script work is going on, reportedly. The official announcement about the movie will be out shortly.

Karthikeya 2 Cast & Crew

The mystery thriller stars Nikhil Siddhartha, Anupama Parameswaran, Anupam Kher, and Adithya Menon among others in key roles.

Written and directed by Chandoo Mondeti, the movie was produced jointly by Abhishek Agarwal Arts and People Media Factory on a decent budget of Rs 15 Crore. Kaala Bhairava, MM Keeravani's son composed the film's entire music and score while Karthik Gattamneni, who made his directorial debut with Ravi Teja's 'Eagle' cranked the camera. He also worked as the film's editor.
