Directed and penned by Venki Atluri, the Telugu-language financial-drama had its much-anticipated Diwali release on October 31, 2024. Headlined by Dulquer Salmaan, 'Lucky Bhaskar' is inspired by true events.

Set in the 1980s, the film features Dulquer Salmaan as Bhaskar Kumar, an ordinary banker who becomes a millionaire. The movie stars Meenakshi Chaudhary as Bhaskar's wife Sumathi along with Rumki as Anthony, Sachin Khedekar, and Maanasa Choudhary among others in key roles.

Dulquer Salmaan's latest Telugu outing 'Lucky Bhaskar' is a Diwali blockbuster. Ever since the release, the film has been receiving rave reviews from the audience and critics alike. As per Sacnilk, the film opened to a solid box office collection of Rs 7.35 cr (including all languages).

Reportedly, the financial-drama saw over 5% growth on Friday and raked in around Rs 6.76 cr, taking the total nett collection to Rs 14.05 cr in 2 days.

DQ-starrer Lucky Bhaskar has been continuing to maintain its strong hold at the box office. According to the latest Sacnilk update, the film has managed to rake in approximately Rs 4.17 cr today (day 3, Saturday) till 6:30 pm IST.

The numbers don't include the moolah from the night shows.

Lucky Bhaskar OTT Release: When Will DQ's Film Arrive On OTT?

As per reports, the digital rights of Lucky Bhaskar have been allegedly acquired by Netflix. While the official OTT release update is yet to be announced, the film might have its digital premiere on Netflix by December this year. However, there is no official announcement yet.
