Mallobika Banerjii Clears Stance After Taking Dig On Vijay Deverakonda For His Hindi, "....Wasn't Intentional"

Famous for her bright and cheerful appearance in many productions, Bengali actress Mallobika Banerjii recently cleared up a long-standing misunderstanding concerning remarks she made about Telugu hottie Vijay Deverakonda. The two collaborated on the song video Nee Venakale Nadichi a few years prior. Mallobika's light-hearted comment regarding Vijay's use of Hindi in an interview sparked a range of reactions from the public to the media.

Not long back, Vijay Deverakonda had linked Hindi to Hebrew for those who were unaware at the time, a comparison Mallobika Banerjii addressed in an interview as she had seen it happen when Vijay was making his Bollywood debut in the film Liger.

Mallobika addressed the matter and voiced her worries about the misunderstanding of her remarks. "Even though a lot of time has passed, I still want to make my position known because there are still people who don't understand me.The way I said it wasn't intentional and was mistaken both in words and delivery. I don't mean to hurt anyone. As artists, we are surely open to work in all the fields we wish to."

She continued, underlining a paradox of her earlier statement, saying, "My comment was a joke and wasn't meant to expose or degrade Vijay in any way. I have an immense amount of respect for him as an artist and even as a friend, and the comment was intended to be humorous rather than critical. Therefore, I kindly ask that everyone put an end to this matter and concentrate on the positive developments in life, including in the workplace."
