Starring Krithi Shetty as the female lead, the movie titled 'Manamey' written and directed by Sriram Adittya was released amid high expectations on June 7 worldwide.

After the film's theatrical release, it has earned mixed reactions for the story and its screenplay whereas Sharwanand's effortlessly effective performance has been winning applause. The movie has earned decent until the first and opening weekend. Despite falling flat at the box office, the makers of the film are celebrating a success meet in Tadepalli of Andhra Pradesh, near to the new capital Amaravati on June 12.
