Matka Advance Bookings: Varun Tej is hitting the big screens after a long time and is keen on scoring success at the box office following his slew of flop films. The movie titled 'Matka,' is based on the life of Ratan Khetri, a Matka gambler, and was written and directed by Karuna Kumar.

Matka movie stars Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead opposite Varun Tej. The period gangster actioner is going to be released worldwide on November 14.

Matka Premise
The Matka movie charts the real life's highs and lows of a gambler named Ratan Khetri. It is set during the times of 1958 and 1982 with Varun Tej playing the protagonist.

Matka Advance Bookings Open NOW
With three days to go for the movie's big release worldwide, the advance bookings for the movie Matka have been opened on November 11. Taking to his social media handles, Varun Tej tweeted, "It's all on the line, and the thrill is yours to claim! Grab your seats and brace yourselves for an epic retro experience in theatres from NOVEMBER 14th VASU'S PROMISE#MATKA #MATKAonNOV14th, (sic)." Check out the tweet below.

The movie stars Varun Tej as Matka Vasu, Meenakshi Chaudhary as Sujatha, Nora Fatehi as Sofia, Saloni Aswani as Padma, P. Ravi Shankar as Narayana Murthy, Kishore as Nani Babu, Naveen Chandra as Sahu, and Ajay Ghosh as Appala Reddy among others in key roles.

Matka Crew
Written and directed by Karuna Kumar, the movie was produced by Vijender Reddy Teegala and Rajani Talluri under the Vyra Entertainment and SRT Entertainments banner. G.V. Prakash Kumar composed the film's entire music and score. A. Kishor Kumar worked as the cinematographer and Karthika Srinivas handled the editing.
