Modern Classics: S.S. Rajamouli OTT Release: S.S. Rajamouli, the epic filmmaker who made not just the mammoth Telugu film industry but the entire country proud with his global films and no-failure success streak, is a man who goes down in history. The documentary will be hitting the OTT platform on August 2.

To celebrate the filmmaker's jubilant journey, Netflix, the leading OTT giant has come up with a special documentary for their new series titled Modern Masters. The trailer of the show featuring SS Rajamouli titled 'Modern Masters: SS Rajamouli' was released on July 22 in all languages. However, the trailer drew severe criticism and flak from the Telugu fans and audiences.

When the makers have dropped the trailer of the documentary, Telugu people expressed severe dissatisfaction about the makers decision to use dubbed voice over for S.S. Rajamouli, Jr NTR, Ram Charan, and Prabhas among others.

The documentary's trailer showcased the work and conviction of the director while he was on the sets doing what he is known for the best-perfection. From Prabhas to Jr NTR, Ram Charan, and Rajamouli's wife Rama Rajamouli, who works as a costume designer for his films, everyone was seen talking about the working style of the director, who brought the iconic and prestigious first Oscar Award to India with his vision.

Except for KK Senthil Kumar, who is his cinematographer, Rajamouli works with his siblings and family members who are his technicians. Rajamouli's Line Producer, Assistant Director, Unit Incharge, Costume Designer, Musician, Story writer and critics are all from his own family. The director is known for his long-standing collaboration with all of them and they are an integral part of the massive success as a filmmaker.

The documentary series was presented by Netflix in association with Anupama Chopra's Applause Entertainment and Sameer Nair, Deepak Segal's Film Companion Studios banners. Raghav Khanna was the director and Tanvi Ajinkya was the co-director.
