Mr Bachchan OTT Rights: Ravi Teja-Starrer Harish Shankar's Upcoming Actioner Closes Digital Streaming Business

Mr Bachchan OTT Rights Sold: Massraja Ravi Teja is one star of Tollywood who keeps on doing films irrespective of flops and hits. He is the Akshay Kumar of Tollywood and the actor is already gearing up for his third release of the year with director Harish Shankar's 'Mr Bachchan.' The movie stars Bhagyasri Borse as the female lead and will hit the screens on August 15 worldwide.

Mr Bachchan is based on the real income tax raid incident that took place in India on industrialist Sardar Inder Singh. The filmmakers chose to adapt the real-life incident into a feature film and made it suitable with the addition of cinematic elements for the silver screen.

The action entertainer marks the first collaboration between musician Mickey J. Meyer and director Harish Shankar. Ravi Teja and Harish Shankar joined hands for the first time too. Earlier the duo collaborated for movies titled 'Neninthe' and 'Nippu' for which Harish worked as an assistant director. Ahead of the film's release, the makers are also releasing promotional content. A song titled 'Sitar' was dropped recently to mixed reactions about the way it was shot and choreographed.

Mr Bachchan Secures Digital Streaming Partner

As per the available information, the digital streaming rights of Mr Bachchan have been sold for a decent amount. If the buzz is true, OTT giant Netflix has shelled out a chunk of the amount to bag the rights to this action entertainer. After the theatrical release and time agreed upon, the movie Mr Bachchan will start streaming on Netflix, reportedly.

The movie Mr Bachchan stars Ravi Teja, the mass raja along with Jagapathi Babu, Sachin Khedekar, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Bhagyasri Borse, and Kishore Raju Vasistha among others in key roles.
